One More Thing...
I just need to let the world know that our dog does not pout all the time...he really does live a very happy life - just not in recent pictures...I'll try to get some non-pout face pictures soon so you will believe me.
Update on the Little Fellow
After an visit to the vet today, Tucker-man is down a nail... Little Fellow basically "bent back" his nail at its base in the nail bed...and in the process, of course, damaged his nail bed. They had to sedate him to remove the nail and get it all cleaned up. For the next couple of days/weeks until the wound closes he will be sporting a ziploc bag every time he goes outside so we don't have to clean it every single time. But for the next day or two he is sporting a "soft cast" and his award winning pout-face...

Poor Little Fellow
Tucker was having a blast running laps around the inside of the house tonight when he managed to partially pull one of his nails out. We aren't completely sure how it happened but I noticed blood on the carpet and tile then saw the blood coming from his paw. After cleaning it up and calling the vet to make sure there wasn't anything to be done tonight, we wrapped it up and gave him doggie Advil that we had thanks to our wee-early morning visit to the emergency vet in November to find out that he had growing pains.
Now for the real show - please notice how well he has mastered the pout face...
And yes - he is in the chair - just don't ask...

Don't Leave Me...
Daddy just said that we are going to PetSmart and I got a bath Momma, so I am begging, please let me go! And yes, I am going to stay right here in front of the door to the garage so you can't leave without me.
Momma, what's that weird thing in your hand?
Mom, do you mind? I would like to take a nap outside in the warm sunlight please.
Dang it, Mom. Stop calling my name, I want to go to sleep and stop making that red light turn on that thing in your hands, please.

What Was I Thinking?
Someone let me know if you find my brain on the side of the road because it sure isn't in my head right now...
First I got up this morning and worked out including boxing with the Wii, which had my arms hurting/burning before I was done...oh and that was the first time I had done that work out in ohhh...a year.
Then Andrew and I had a wonderful, relaxing breakfast at Chick-fil-a before venturing to Dick's in search of a pair of Under Armour ColdGear leggings for me. I figured they would be nice to have for 1) golf in the winter, 2) hunting, 3) running, 4) dressing like I had been working out -(oh you mean you have never done that...come on...just kidding, I would never do that because #5), 5) wearing them to Kroger (with shorts or a long shirt) rather my PJs like I really want to do some morning...
Anyway - we got the leggings and a pair of golf pants which I needed and then...and then...I lost my brain...
I told Andrew - "Hey they have stand bags on sale, I should get one so I can walk with you..." Stupid, stupid, stupid...so rather than pushing my bag of clubs on this cute little deal with wheels like Drew and as he suggested...I opt for the "low-weight" carry bag which means I will be strapping my clubs to my back...brilliant idea...so guess what - we buy one - then rather than just walking, no clubs, just chilling on the course in the 40 degree weather as I had planned, with Andrew, I have to play since I got this new-fancy-designed for walking bag...
I am currently on the sofa with a Diet Dr Pepper and a pack of Grandma's Cookies (which I just finished off) and dreading the moment that I have to get up...so please let me know if you find my brain before I do something else stupid.

We Got Gutters...
We got gutters - We got gutters...hey, hey, hey! Okay so only slightly excited about adding gutters but they don't come "standard" on upper-end stater homes out here...heck they don't really come standard on many homes at all. So we are thrilled to have added value to the house and to get some of the water causing extra settlement away from the house...
It's the little things in life folks...

She's Backkk...
My car that is...and she looks better than new!
Thanks to both sets of parents for all of their help in getting my car to and from the shop and back to me and for letting us borrow theirs for a while!! We are blessed to have such giving folks...
Also - if you are shopping for car insurance - check out Allstate - I can only say good things about their coverage, claims service, and assistance. The process which could have been a nightmare was very simple. Then again - it is nice not to have to use the rental coverage and just borrow a parent's spare vehicle or to have your father-in-law be in charge of watching over the repairs - but still - Allstate made it very easy for us.
I will post before and after pictures at some point...it could be months...and my car will be nasty again by then...
