Bop's and Tucker

Start to finish - it took him 2 minutes to take down his special treat from Bop's.  It is as though he thinks someone is going to take it from him, so he must eat it as quickly as possible.

Lately

A glimpse at what has happened lately...

Kim and Cory welcomed sweet Allie to the world this past week!!

 Allie gave me a reason to make cinnamon rolls...and Kim loves them, so why not.  I sent this picture to Kim on Friday morning at 5:30am in response to her message letting me know that she was up and ready for  me to meet Allie (and for her cinnamon rolls).  Heck, I love them.  Just looking at this picture makes me want to get up and make a batch.  Jackson friends - answer your door if I show up in about 5 hours - I might be bringing cinnamon rolls because they can't stay in my house.  I have a dress to fit in, in a month and this suckers aren't going to help that cause.

 My boys - enjoying a post-call nap together.  Not sure why the dog is the on sofa and not on his bed or in his chair.  My guess...his daddy let's him get away with murder.  Oh wait - that's me that takes him to get ice cream and Chick Fil A on call days...never mind.

 My present from Tucker on Friday afternoon...a stinky, muddy belly from him napping in the bushes after it rained.  Other than having to immediately give him a bath, I am taking the hint, we need pine straw...I am aware.

 After church today, I decided to work on my lack of tan.  Tucker participated for about 5 minutes, then he said, "Mom, you're crazy.  I am going to get in the shade."

 "Yep, Mom.  The shade is so much better.  I don't even care if my bed, which isn't normally allowed outside is over there with you - I am staying in the shade."

It was just too darn pretty not to enjoy it.  However, this is also known as - fry your pale self in a hurry sky.  It lived up to its name.

Difference in Women and Men

Allow our shrubs to display the difference in men and women...

Mine, on the left, is rounded - and of course I didn't attempt to knock the cuttings from the top of the shrub - I leave them there - they will die and fall at some point.

Andrew's, right, is square...mostly even...and clean.

And yes - we left them like this - we were just glad to have them cut it doesn't really matter how they look.

Yep, It's Friday

You know it is Friday when this is what you see under my desk.  I swear I get more work done without shoes.

TV, Skyline, Tatonuts, and Red Briefs

We have a TV watcher on our hands.

Yes, he is watching Duck Dynasty.  If you don't, you should.  A&E...Wednesday nights.  Watch it.

I headed to the coast for a weekend with John and his parents.  I met them at the beach/yacht club on Friday night.  While waiting for MB to finish pulling in her boat, I snapped this picture of the Biloxi skyline from the beach at the OS Yacht Club, which is at the base of the 90 bridge.

Tucker and I made a Tatonut run Saturday morning.  I left the sunroof open for him and while waiting in line - (at 6:20am yes there was already a line), I noticed this (look beyond the flag - at the white car)...

And finally, I leave you with the picture of the weekend - I love this kid...red briefs and all.
