Weekend Recap

This was from weekend before last, but it is still a weekend, right?  Andrew and I were both sick of sitting in the house, so we loaded up both dogs and took a little drive.  We rode across the causeway to Northshore.  He had never had the pleasure of Tico riding in his lap/standing on his arm while driving...he said, "Does this dog think he can drive?"  And you have to love that Tucker had to be touching his dad too.

This weekend - I was in a wonderful mood, sunroof open - music blaring, driving home.  Andrew was supposed to be picking up Tucker from the vet (just regular shots, no injuries this time).  I get a call from him that his truck won't crank.  URGH!  I didn't let it bother me - no reason to let it.  So he called the shop, got the wrecker on the phone, and it cranked!  I ran to pick up Tucker, where Andrew met us, and we took the truck to the shop.  Andrew was following Tucker and me, and got several pictures of Tucker riding with his head out the sunroof.  (Andrew said had it not been for Tucker riding like this and falling down inside the car and biting the air, he would have been in an extremely poor mood.  I knew we got a dog for a reason!)  They had it fixed on Saturday - it was a short in the "anti-theft system."  Electrical, again.

Saturday - we did house work, then played golf in the afternoon.  It is the running joke that I manage to find mud like a 3 year old little boy on the golf course...and it is true.  If I don't come off the course splattered with mud, it wasn't a good round.  The picture below is on the 6th tee box...please note the spot of mud just above my ankle...you can't see it - but it is about an inch.  It is was a beautiful, hot afternoon.  I played a little too well.  Like really well.  But it was fun!!

Sunday - it was Church, then back to the golf course.  We fully expected to get rained on, but it didn't.  However, we did stop at 9 because someone was a bit upset and ready to call it a day.  It wasn't me.  We spent the rest of the day watching golf on TV, making pizza, and making sure that Tico got plenty of loving.
