He and I go for a walk every morning and he is doing really well on the lead and is beginning to understand heeling (huge step for us). He is also sitting on command most of the time and responds to down when he knows a treat is involved. He does a great job of showing me things in the yard that could get him trouble, like the styrofoam faucet cover, the water hose and mini-sprinkler, the black landscaping cord used on the tree stakes, and for the first time my back door mat.
He is staying outside during the morning, then at lunch I bring him inside to his indoor pen. Usually when we get home, he goes back outside, unless it is above 90 degrees, then he goes out for a quick break and comes back in. He is sleeping inside on his bed inside his pen and aside for crying when he spilt his water at 2am this morning, he is sleeping well during the night.
Andrew and Tucker are best buds and have been spending time together working on all of his commands. I have also caught them sharing Tucker's bed...don't let Andrew fool you, he really loves this dog. I am taking him to the vet on Saturday so a full weight report will be in then. But in terms of height, we introduced ourselves to some labs during our walk on Monday and he is as tall as the full-grown labs already.
Here is what I mean about Andrew and Tucker being buddies - please note - the dog isn't allowed on the furniture, but he was trying to give Andrew some kisses. And no, Andrew isn't asleep in this picture even though it looks like it.

Of course the dog loves Andrew; I've never met one that didn't.
:-) He is so cute (Tucker, that is). :-)
