This is just a glimpse of what happens to my kitchen when I decide to make cinnamon rolls. In this case, I had four cups of milk about to expire and I didn't have any cinnamon rolls in the freezer, so I made cinnamon rolls. You will notice I have to use plastic cutting boards to roll out the dough - I have tile counters...not good for rolling dough. Unfortunately, for the first time ever, I killed the yeast - too much heat..so the rolls are slightly dense but still really good (we had some for lunch yesterday!).

I have a large piece of brownish marble up in the attic that would be perfect for you. (It is the top to a marble table that was my parents.) I used it to make peanut brittle before I got the granite countertops. (Now I pour out right on the granite.) If you want it, it is yours.

PS - must be something about cooking this weekend. More tomatoes dehydrating; cooked ribs and fixins' for Papa Ouzts for supper last night; made pesto today (since I know you are coming in October to steal some - LOL); made chicken salad for lunches this week; boiled chicken "parts" for the dogs - they can't wait until supper; and finally, chicken noodle soup is simmering on the stove. Grumpy is in the shop and I'm headed to the sofa!!
