This has nothing to do with Halloween, sorry. However we did see several very interesting outfits but nothing special enough to share.
Back to the point - the good, bad, and ugly of call months...
the good - every fourth, fifth, eighth, third (take your pick) night - I don't have to cook and can eat whatever I want including cookie dough, pancakes, grape nuts, it really doesn't matter...
the bad - I don't get much sleep because Andrew isn't around on those nights...Andrew's attitude starts to slip away about call night #2, he blames it on the nurses who are usually referred to as stupid (note: we have several family members and friends that are nurses, not all nurses are stupid - just the ones that page Andrew while on-call with stupid questions that if they had read the orders they would have known the answer)...if Tucker decides wake up at 1am with the urge to go potty and wakes me up, his butt is going to spend the rest of the night outside - I don't like the dark even when I have 90lb monster standing beside...
the ugly - our beautiful faces at the end of a call month - lack of sleep doesn't do either of us well. To say that I need my beauty rest is more like saying I just need sleep otherwise I am a pain the rear - Andrew's poor eyes get so dark by the end of it you would think he got in a fight...
But all in all, having a no cooking night every so often just about outweighs everything else for me. And y'all know how much I love to cook - it is just that built in night for me to eat whatever I want (and I don't have to go to Kroger as often!)
