Two Birdies

Sorry for those that care and/or know nothing about golf, but I need to brag for a minute.  I had what could be described as the round of my life on Sunday.  Bottom line - I birdied both par 5's on the front nine to shoot a 42!!  I even had a decent putt for eagle on the first one...so yes, I was on the green in 2, rather than the "suggested" three.

That is crazy low for someone like me.  In fact, that was the first time I had multiple birdies in a single round.  Put it like this - I am usually happy (extremely happy) with a bogey...and a par is just awesome...so birdies are like gold!!!!!!

I didn't finish out the back nine well, but I still ended up tying my lowest score at that course.  Next time maybe I will mange to keep my act together and not shoot 9's on both the par 5's on the back nine, whoops!

Quick golf lesson:
Par = what you are supposed to shoot (how many times it takes you to get the ball from the tee to the hole).
Birdie = Par - one
Eagle = Par - two
Bogey= Par + one
Double Bogey = Par + two
